Update

Sorry that it has been so long since I have updated the blog, but there is really nothing to write. I have been feeling somewhat better although I am still not 100%, as some of you saw Sunday when I left mass very, very early. But I really cannot complain. I cannot explain the excitement I feel when I think of carrying two babies.

Wesley is doing wonderful. He is speaking now more than ever, and we understand him. My dad cannot get over how he picks up some words -- like, he will tell you "I can't reach" if he can't. Right now he has a small black eye compliments of his parrian. They were playing pillow fight and the zipper hit him below the eye. I did not even know it until we came home. He rarely cries when he gets hurt.

Daniel is still loving his job and playing in 2 community bands. That takes up usually 1-2 nights a week depending on the week.

My parents are in Las Vegas this week. Can you say jealous? Actually I am ecstatic for them. I hope that I will be able to do that one day -- after these 3 boys move out the house.

Well I will try not to be so bad with updates next time. I would hate to get any more hate mail (just joking).

It's a . . .

Well our ultrasound was today, and although it cannot be definate, the doctor thinks we are having 2 boys!!!! She is pretty sure about one but not necessarily the other. It may have been the ambilical cord she was seeing, but she was fairly confident that it was not. As I said before it is early to find out. I am only a little over 15 weeks, and you usually cannot tell sex until about 16-18 weeks. The next ultrasound will be more definate. My feelings though is that it is easier to see something than the absence of something, so I don't really think it will change.

It is extremely irronic with all of my friends because we all have boys. I know everyone was hoping for at least one girl to add to the group, but I guess that will have to be for the next one to get pregnant (hopefully). Shane, now you will definately have your baseball team!

I will post pictures of the ultrasound hopefully tomorrow after I scan them into the computer.

As far as health goes, both babies are still measuring bigger than normal at this point (by days, not a great deal). This is really good news. Heart beats were 148 and 156. Everything is looking right on track. I still have no special instuctions since everything seems to be going so well!

So if anyone comes across good boy names, please send them this way. Of course I only had a couple of girl names that had stuck, and one boy name I am thinking of. Oh, and I know the first ideas will be your name for the guys, buy I would not feel right "stealing" your name, so be more original.

Extended Holiday

Thanks to Wes, I had an extended holiday to relax a little ( and get some house work done). Wesley has a virus and has been running a really high fever. He did well at the doctor's office until they had to take his blood. The doctor was a bit cncerned because his white blood count was really low, but he already is looking better.

I have been feeling much better with the morning sickness except for the occassional sickness usually if I wait too long before eating. We go to the doctor on Monday for another ultrasound, so updates will be forthcoming.

Mardi Gras

This year we decided to forgo the parades and boiled crawfish and crabs instead. Wesley had fun with the crabs who were not moving because they were on ice. We did let one "defrost" for him to watch also.
