12 month update

The twins have been exceptional health wise. We are lucky in that we have been free of breathing treatments for over a month now. Alex and Aiden are both growing and moving like crazy. They have definately mastered crawling and are pretty good with cruising on furniture. Alex is daring to let go momentarily but Aiden is still a little to cautious.

The boys are doing great in therapy. We went through a mini-eval yesterday to see where they are and how they have grown the past couple of months. They are in the 10-11 month range in regards to physical and expressive components, but have otherwise caught up in all other areas.

We go for our one-year check up today so weights and heights are to come. Hopefully we will be fine with our shots.

More Birthday Pictures

The kids, both little and big, had a great time with the "slip and slide" (baby soap, visqueen, and a sprinker).

1st Birthday!!!!!! Where has the year gone???

Alex and Aiden one year ago: It was no surprise they would be here any day but I could have never imagined how life would change in the next few weeks. It has been a trip I could have never dreamed of going on, but I never want to end!

July Get Together

Our get together was at Brandee's this month. She was nice enough to invite the guys and kids as well . We had a great time. Wes, Ethan, and Gavin are so much fun to watch now that they are older and can interact. We had a great time, but pretty soon we will have to start going to the park for our large group. Wow how things have changed in 5 years!!!!

Alex's Teeth

A new tooth for Alex: Alex's third tooth came out this week. It is at the top right tooth. He also has the one next to it that should cut any day now. (OK so you can't really see them in the picture above.)

Aiden still only has his two bottom ones. He is chewing like crazy, but it looks like he will only have those 2 for his first birthday!

Travis and Lani's wedding

We had a wonderful time at Travis and Lani's wedding last weekend. When we arrived at the Civic Center we were surprised with a broken air conditioner. After the first 2 hours some did come to our rescue. South Louisiana summer, no AC, and formal attire should not be in the same sentence!!!

One year ago today, we were heading back home from our last day at Woman's Hospital (we did get admitted to Thibodaux one more time before we went in to have the twins.) I still remember the relief that I felt to know that the twins would be okay if they were born at this point.

I have definately had a much different summer this year than last. I have enjoyed spending so much time with the twins and Wesley. It is hard to believe that summer is coming to an end pretty soon.

Can barely remember, or rather imagine, life without them.
