New Tricks

The boys have some new tricks lately. They have both found their noses. Aiden is so happy in the picture below when he was pointing at his.

Aiden also likes to play peek-a-boo.

Aiden's new word is ball. He loves playing with balls and tractors.

Alex likes his yellow school bus that makes music. We often find the two of them fighting over this one. We have been having to separate them at times so Alex stops hitting Aiden.
The boys are doing well walking along furniture, but they still won't dare to try their first step. Their physical therapist said she thinks by Halloween each should be walking. We will count our blessings until then. Soon after walking comes running. We won't stop then.
Alex nor Aiden like the grass very much, but they love outside. The threshhold of the doors no longer stop either of them. I am glad it is starting to cool off so we can sit outside in the evenings.

Church Family Day Picnic

Our church had a family day picnic today. The kids were able to jump in space walks and go on the big slides. There was plenty of food and sweets, facepainting, crafts, a train, and even a pony ride. the ponies came as we left so Wes was not able to ride them but he enjoyed seeing them. It was a beautiful day.

Wes, Ethan and April enjoying lunch under the tree.

Aiden playing on the blanket. Neither of the boys like the grass very much, so it was not hard to keep them in one spot. The snowman in the background is for Brody. He loves that toy.

Aiden has been laughing so much lately.

Wesley getting his face painted with a football because he could not decide between LSU or the Saints.

Alex could not even wait for the two minute ride homw to go to sleep. We had a great time, but the boys were sure worn out!

Alex vs Aiden

Well it is no surprise tha Aiden beats Alex when it come to a competition with hair. But Alex has always had more teeth than Aiden. Aiden's 3rd tooth finally cut through. Alex on the other hand has 7!!! Tonight, we caught him upset with Aiden and what looked like he was trying to bit him. I don't think he understands that yet, but I guess it is just a little snap shot into what the next few months/years will bring us!

UPDATE: Aiden's 4th tooth also cut through today (Sunday).

Saturday Night

Tonight we went to MawMaw's for supper. We were lucky that it did not turn into a hurricane party. We received no rain today, although from watching the LSU game on TV, you would think we could not have avoided it. Tropical Depression 10 gave us no more than a cloudy day.

Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Grant were in from Missouri for the weekend. We also found out that we will have a new baby cousin come May -- congratulations Travis and Lani!

Alex was playing with Glenn's toes as he was sleeping. He could not stop giggling.

LSU Football

Last week we went to Shannon's for the LSU game. Of course, with the three boys and a late game we basically stayed for the "tailgating," or as much of that as we could do with the kids. We left at the beginning of the game and listened to most of it on the way home.

Granny and PawPaw with their boys -- a little girl would just look so lost in this group!)

This week, we invited our parents over and were ordering Tigervision. After 3 calls and lots of aggrivation, we discovered that we were not able to order Tigervision in our area. By mere chance, I put the TV on channel 799 (Tigervision) and we saw the stadium and everyone piling in. We were sure that it would cut off at the beginning of the game, but how could they tell us we could not order it if we could see it before the game. Daniel was rather enraged. At 7pm we were pleasantly surprised to have the channel still working, and we were able to see the entire game for free. We are not sure why but when my parents went home at the end of the game, they were able to catch it also, so I guess all Vacherie had it. Hopefully, you are not reading this and disappointed that you did not see it.

TOUCHDOWN TIGERS! AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN . . .

Mike the Tiger

Monday Kirby and Shannon took Wesley on their last outting before the baby. They went to LSU to see the new Mike the Tiger. "Mike was too tired," Wesley said, so no pictures with him.

Bath Time

The boys love their baths!! Wes enjoys filling the tub with toys for them to play with.

Getting into trouble

It is so funny how it oly takes a matter of seconds for the boys to get into something. I know when it gets too quiet around, they have gotten into something.
