Christmas Afternoon

Christmas afternoon was spent at Aunt Brenda's with Dad's family. We were blessed with 2 new babies the past month. We had a great time seeing everyone again.

Slideshows

I have been posting lots of slideshows because I can simply not chose just a couple of pictures from each celebration. If the slideshow does not begin on its own, click once on the show and it will begin.

Christmas Morning

We must have all been very good this year because Santa filled the house with goodies. The boys received a kitchen along with food, utensils, a book, and CD to go along with it. Watch Wesley's face as he opened this. They have had a blast playing with this the past couple of days. Wes also got a Leapster L Max which he has played with lots. He received a couple of games from his grandparents and Uncle Kevin and Aunt Maggi to go along with it. The boys were very good, so I guess they deserve it all.

Getting Ready for Santa

Wes was excited to get ready for Santa to come Christmas Eve. He began asking to come home right after we opened presents at MawMaw's because Santa told him to get to bed early. First he had to leave cookies and milk and something for Rudolph. He was sleeping in no time.

And yes he did write all of the names. He asked only how to spell each.

Christmas at MawMaw's

After mass, we went to MawMaw's for our usual Christmas Eve celebration. We have more babies this year -- it's multiplying quickly. But it is so much fun with all of the little ones. As I have said before, it is wonderful to have such a big family that remains so close, expecially during the holidays. Thanks to everyone for making this one so special!

Christmas Eve at Granny and PawPaw's

We started our Christmas Eve celebrations early Monday. We had lunch at Granny and PawPaw's and then presents before Daniel and I left for mass and the boys went down for a nap (actually Wes napped and the twins cried until PawPaw went get them). They definately know how to work him. No wonder they are so spoiled. Hehehehe.

Christmas in Labadieville

We celebrated Christmas with Daniel's side of the family on Sunday afternoon. This gave us some extra time to spend without all the usual rush of jumping from one house to another. We had a wonderful dinner and a great time visiting. The boys were well behaved except that Uncle Kevin taught Wes how to shake the presents to guess what was in them. Thanks for everything!

More Pictures with the boys

Notice Alex has two different faces for pictures -- the cheesy grin with eyes squinting or a wide open mouth laugh. They playful mood the boys were in tonight did not allow us to take great pictures by the tree. They wanted to play instead of sitting still. maybe we can get them later, but probably not. That will more than likely have to wait a couple of years :)

Playing with the boys

The boys were in such a playful mood this tonight. After Daniel laughed hysterically at the boys attacking me, we decided it should be his turn -- so I took out the camera.

Bathtime

Boys, please don't hate me, but you are just too cute when you take your bath!

Santa Spotted in Vacherie

Santa was spotted in South Vacherie today. He made his appearance at the South Vacherie Head Start Center. The children were thrilled to see him. Although extremely busy this time of year, he took time to bring a few early Christmas presents and get updated Christmas wishes. He told the boys and girls that he was still watching and that so many had been good this year. Thanks for the visit, Santa!!!
