Camden's 1st brithday . . . and more

Sunday was Camden's 1st birthday party. It was lots of fun. It is still amazing how fast time flies by. It seems that he should still be a little baby.
Wesley is obviously the little white head in the front of the cake.

Wesley, on the other hand, thinks he is a grown boy. He loves cooking with me and Daniel. We caught a few pictures of him helping us mix ground meat for hamburgers.

Everything still going well with me and the twins. They are moving so much right now. It is so neat to be able to see them move. One is more active than the other, nad definately more active than Wesley ever was. I guess we will have to wait to see if that means anything after they are born. I hope they are both as good as Wesley is ( don't get me wrong, he has his moments, but he always does something cute to make up for them.)

And finally, only 20 days left of school. I don't think I have ever looked forward to summer htis much. I actually hope it goes by fast though. The end of the summer is what will be exciting. I do go to my doctor on Tuesday and a specialist on Wednesday, so I will update soon with doctor information and possibly ultrasound pictures.

Making Changes

On Thursday and Friday, Anna and I painted Wesley's new room. He loves it. I thought it might be a little challenge to change, but he is so excited.

Kelci and Wesley also enjoyed the heat by playing in the pool for the first time. If you look closely, you will notice the pool was not blown up too well. I could not blow any more air at the time, but they still had a blast!

Update

Well it has beeen a very busy few weeks. My grandfather has been very ill and passed away Wednesday morning. Everyone is doing well. We were lucky to have lots of time with him, and he was home the whole time -- that was a wonderful blessing.

The babies and I are doing well. I took off work last week to have osme extra rest with all the stress, and we are off school this week.

Unfotunately, I do not have pictures of Wesley for Easter. It was a very mellow one since we had the wake Sunday night. He did get tons of things, so hopefully I will catch him for a few pictures with him with his kite or bubbles.

I hope everyone had a wnderful Easter, and thanks for all of your prayers and thoughtfulness at this time.

Dr Appt

Sunday was a nice and relaxing day. We enjoyed boiled crawfish at my grandma''s and then went out on the boat. Wes was wonderful, but completely exhausted afterwards. Kelci was amazed at the number of alligators that we saw.

Yesterday was my dr appointment. Everythins is right on track. She actually told us that she is impressed that I am still doing so well. My blood pressure, weight, etc. is looking great right now. I am scheduled to see a high risk doctor the first week in May. I had the same done with Wesley. It is just a precaution because of a history of heart problems in the family (both me and my sister). She is not very worried but their is a higher risk with multiples.

And yes, we are definately having two boys. It was very obvious, so eveyone can stop hoping that one will change by July or August. We do not have any good pictures of the ultrasound. We only have a heartbeat and sex picture of each. They were being active, so she could not get one of both of them this time. Both are right on track. Heartbeats were in the 160's, up from the 140's last time, but as I said they were active. They are both measuring right on target as well.

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday Wesley and I along with many of our friends, went on an Easter Egg Hunt at St. Joseph Elem. Wes had lots of fun running around. We had a large breakfast and played games inside the gym. He made cookies and a bunny hat with long ears, but we could not get him to paint his face. We got half the bunny nose on, and he was done. It was a such nice day.

After the hunt, I wet get a pedicure thanks to a Christmas gift from Heidi. I have a feeling I will be doing that a few times this summer. It was really nice and relaxing.
