The Party

Alex and Aiden's birthday party was Sunday. We were blessed with a beautiful (bur very HOT) day. We had lunch at 11:00 with the Gravois to celebrate Uncle John's 50th, and the boys' party was at 2. The boys had a blast playing in the water. They received plenty of clothes, coloring books, books, and a few toys. Wesley gave them each a Tickle Me Elmo since they are presently having an obsetion with Elmo. Thanks to everyone who helped and came celebrate.

The Cake!

What happens when you let the boys play:
They love making a house (or what we used to call a fort). Well, they also helped pick up so it was not too bad!

Cup Cakes

Wes brought his brothers each a balloon for their birthday (the presents are to come at the party Sunday). We also bought a pack of cupcakes to share.

Happy Birthday to my sweet little boys!

It is so hard to believe the twins are 2 - especially when they are sleeping so peacefully (when they wake up I know they are in the terrible twos -hehe).

Congrats

Congratulations Kirby and Shannon on your new house. It is beautiful. I will get better pictures soon.

Keeping the kids busy while packing:

Wes loves to help clean:

DCI

We went to Lafayette a couple weeks ago. Wes enjoyed the bands but was very tired by the end.

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday MawMaw Hattie!!

We met Kevin and Maggi and MawMaw Hattie and PawPaw Henry for supper Sunday night to celebrate her birthday. Sorry I don't have pictures. My battery was dead by this point. The boys were also pretty hyped up from their weekend and a slight handful at the restaurant.

Global Wildlife

We stopped at the Global Wildlife Center on our way home from the camp. The boys loved the animals. We caught the first tour so the animals were waiting to be fed. We had lots of fun and the boys were well behaved, at least until the last 20 minutes or so. At that point, we had past most of the animals. They still wanted to walk around, though. It was also nap time. It did not take Alex 5 minutes to fall asleep once in the car. Aiden was only a few minutes behind him.

The Camp: Picking Figs

Yes that is a piece of fig on Aiden's head. He did not really eat much of the figs, but he loved mashing them.
Alex was not as much into picking and eating figs. He stayed on the porch.
