Enjoying the holiday

I have definately enjoyed this week off and being able to spend so much time with the boys. I can finally say it is getting easier with the twins (I guess I can now say it was a challenge the first few months). The boys are all enjoying their new toys and clothes. Thanks again to everyone.

Nap time

Wesley loves to take naps in his brothers room -- often with them. Well today he went first, and his brothers needed a nap a little later so they got to sleep in his room.

Gravois Family Christmas

Christmas afternoon we went to Granny and PawPaw's for yet another Christmas party. Wesley was finally able to play with the swing set that Granny and PawPaw got for the boys. We had been hiding it from him since mid-Dec. It was hard since we are at Mom's so much and since we drive down there every day to go to the sitter's house.

Also, the babies are doing much better since we began the breathing treatments last Wed. Aiden is still wheezing a little, but Alex is doing great. They have also been able to move out of their car seats and sleep in the bed at night since they are feeling better. Their reflux is also doing better although they are still spitting up. They have also gone back to sleeping the night since they are able to breath better. My Christmas wish was answered there.

Templet Family Christmas -- Christmas Brunch

The Templet family came over for brunch on Christmas. We had a wonderful time, but barely any place to walk afterwards. It was nice to be able to see Aunt Kristen and Parrain Kevin and Aunt Maggi again!

Christmas Morning

All three boys must have been exceptionally good this year with the amount of presents they received from Santa. This was definately our best Christmas. Wesley was so excited when he woke up. The only problem is that we think we might need to add on to the house to store all of the extra things they received.
Wesley has decided that he and his brothers must share all of their toys. Here he is sleeping in their new play center.

Christmas Eve

Well as you can tell I found a new way to post when I have plenty of pictures. Here are the pictures from Christmas Eve and Nana's house. We had a wonderful time and Santa even stopped by.

Tregre Family Party

Wesley, Alex, and Aiden were excited to be able to finally meet cousin Taylor and to see Jack again. It is hard to keep so many little ones still and happy for a picture.

Alex and Aiden update

We went back to the doctor with Alex and Aiden today (I really would not mind going longer than a week before going to the doctor again!!) We needed more medicine, and when I called, they wanted to see them again. Well it looks like they have an infection on top of the conjestion and all. This is why they cannot get rid of it. Aiden had a little temp as well. Alex is the one that really sounds bad though. So they are on antibiotics and strong medicine, and if this does not help within 2 days, they need breathing treatments.

They have to get better fast to see Nanny Kaci's new baby!

Baking

Wesley is finally feeling better. To help him stay a little happy while he was sick, we decorated some cookies. You can see his red nose in the pictures. On Sunday, Kaci, Nana, and NoNo also came over to bake tea cookies.

And here's Kaci who is now 40 weeks -- if nothing happens by Thursday, she will go in! Good luck Kaci!!!! We can't wait!

Still Sick

For a child who has really never been terribly sick, Wesley is making up for it this year. We made 2 tip to the doctor last week and still had to call on Satuday. Since the new medicine did not seem to be working, we went back again yesterday. In addition, as I picked up the boys, Mrs. Oneida said Alex and Aiden had been coughing as well. I asked Jill to come along since she is now out for Christmas break.

Well, Wes had a melt down there. He has decided he does not like the doctor anymore (no he never had to take a shot with being sick -- he just decided he does not want to go. ) At the same time, Aiden was also crying from not feeling well, so in this little room that we had been in for at least 30 minutes already, we had a 3yr old and baby screaing. I bet every other child in the place was scared what the dr might do to them, but we had not even seen him. After about 5 minutes, Wes calmed down and started coloring. You always see that with other parents, well, don't say anything, it could happen, even to a really well-behaved child.

I ends up Wesley now had an ear infection in both ears and he is wheezing. The cough medicine nor the antibiotic was working, and he was getting sicker. Since his fever was better and his personality was coming back, we would have never know.

Alex and Aiden actually looked pretty good, so back what they were on a few weeks ago with their cough. Of course, that is what we he had said for Wes the first time. I guess he just can't put them on something stronger until they actually sound worse.

Total time for dr app = almost 1 /12 hrs. I love my dr, but keeping 3 kids happy for an hour in a little back room is crazy. I am glad this does not happen often. It is usually quick. I hope we did not scare you away for good Jill.

It definately has been crazy, both my mom and I went to the dr yesterday as well. He told me I was in pretty bad shape and I am on a load of very stong medince too. Same for mom. He also said that he would be sure this is somethin I caught from school. Make me feel great about bringing that home to the kids, but I guess that is how things go.

I hope I was not too negative, but it has definately been a hard week here.

On a good note,
Lutcher won the State Champs!!!
Congrats Shane! We love you!

Brotherly Love

Wesley wanted to take pictures with his brothers as we were decorating the Christmas tree.

We have also still been fighting sickness with the twins and now Wesley. Alex and Aiden are finally getting over their virus -- after 2 1/2 weeks. Wesley now has a horrible cold. To make it worse, we have heard of a few cases of RSV -- one at my school and another at the baby sitter's where the boys go. Needless to say I am a little nervous, but we are watching carefully, and the boys are taking the shots to help prevent this.
We are definately trying to be a lot more careful and follow the nurses instructions from our first round of shots. We are trying to wash hands as often as we can, Lysol everything often, and keep the babies in as much as possible. The fewer crowds they are in, the better the chances of them not getting sick. Of course, we still do a lot of visiting with family, but trying to keep them away from the bigger crowds. I hope this helps. Thank goodness for family. Everytime we have to go somewhere, I have someone willing to watch the babies. That is why you might not see them in the picture below with Santa. Only Wesley and I were there. I guess we will just have to wait until next year to do Christmas parties with the babies. I am sure they would cry with Santa anyway, or Santa would cry trying to hold 2 babies and a three year old (haha).

Visit with Santa

Saturday was our Christmas Get Together with friends from high school. We get together monthly. Anyway, Avie was thoughtful enough to think of inviting Santa to the party. The kids -- actually everyone -- enjoyed Santa's visit so much. We had an absolutely wonderful time. It was a great way to start off the holiday.

We finally have a little girl, Reese Taylor Santiny, to cheer for our baseball team. We have 2 more boys on the way as well. Uncle Shane better get ready to coach a rough group of boys!

Thanks again Avie for such a great time!
