The Zoo
We went to the zoo today with Shannon and Glenn, PawPaw, Kelci, Nanny Jill, and Mary Kathryn and Aimee. we had a wonderful time and the kids were all well behaved (except Aiden had one moment of a melt down after the caroussel ride.) Alex chased any animal he could possibly touch. He even touched the snake, but only with PawPaw holding him -- I would not get close enough. Aiden took a great interest in the animals behind the bars. He would find them just as quickly as we could. The weather was beautiful - a perfect day.

Countdown to Summer
After the past week with the boys, I can't wait until summer. Our weekends are often so packed with running from one place to another so we have a chance to see everyone and do everything that I sometimes forget how much fun we can have together. Frankly, a lot of this can be attributed to my venture with accomplishing National Board Certification for Teachers. I have been so busy since September, but Tuesday I finally shipped my "box" off. I still have the Assessment Center (computer based test) to complete May 23, but the overwhelming part is over for now. This process is considered to take 3 years. I sent my "box" off and will received the results at the end of November. I then revise sections and complete this process again, but it is not nearly as much as the first time (hopefully).
Tuesday afternoon Keena and her boys, Camden and Brody, came play after we went to the post office to mail our boxes. Yesterday we met Daniel for lunch at Chili's, Wesley's favorite restaurant. I then ventured to take all 3 to the park. I know -- I am insane. But I was quickly brought back to reality. The park was packed!! I am not that insane. 2 toddlers running wild are hard enough but with so many people around, I would lose my mind. We came home and played in the backyard.

Easter Sunday
Easter Morning - the bunny came!
Wes ran into my room to let me know that the Easter Bunny had passed, but the twins were not so thrilled. We held Wes off a little while so the boys could sleep a little longer, but then we had to wake them up. They were so sleepy.
I guess everyone was especially good this year because the Easter Bunny left so many things for them. The twins received PJs, books, candy, and a cute outfit. Wes received 2 Leapster games, books, candy and flip flops.
Easter with the Templets
St Joseph Easter Egg Hunt
I am a little late on this post, but we took the boys to the Easter Egg hunt at St Joseph. They had a great time but was a little scared of the Easter Bunny. They actually did not scream as loud as I thought they might have.
