Wow ... Exciting News!

On January 10, I went to the doctor to date the pregnancy and ensure everything was on track. Well . . . it was, but for two not one. Daniel, unfortunately, was not at this appointment ( which I thought was not a huge deal until I found out this news). I amsure he will not miss another appointment now.

The twins are measuring right on track and their heartbeats are 135 and 130 respectively. From now on the babies are names Baby A and Baby B to track measurements.

This will be a whole new ballgame for us now.

As far as knowing if they are identical or fraternal, we can't know at this point. Both are in separate sacks, which is really good news for any twins. It is possible for identical twins to be in the same sack, but it makes the pregancy a lot more high risk. It is possible for identical to be in separate sacks also, but fraternal are also in separate sacks, so for now we will not know. The eariest point to discover this is when we see the sex of the babies. If there is one boy and one girl, then we know they are not identical.
