We spent the weekend at the camp with Granny, PawPaw and Parrian Kirby, Aunt Gerry and Uncle Brian, Aunt Bee and Boo Boy, and Marjorie, Mike, and Emma. It was a beautiful weekend. All weekend Wes kept saying, "I love my camp." We were able to ride the 4 wheelers, roast marshmellows (Wes did not care for them this way), play cards, and relax.
Wes enjoyed riding his John Deere tractor there (as did the babies -- see the pictures). He also went fishing with Kirby before we arrived Friday. The pond has so much more water then the last time we went.
I guess we will be spending a lot of time there this spring and summer!

Mardi Gras
Unfortunately Wesley and I have been sick, so we had to cancel our plans to go to the parade on Sunday like usual. We did feel well enough to go Tuesday. Wes had a great time, and the twins were excellent! I, however, forgot my camera. Shannon did take some pictures for me so I should be able to post those soon.
Thanks Brian for the the beads and toys!!
Parrian Kirby and the boys -- getting lots of practice!!
Wesley is aspiring to be a photographer and took the following pictures yesterday. Thank goodness for digital cameras. Otherwise, we would be spending a ton of money on film.

6 month pictures
We took the twins' 6 month pictures this week with Joan Delatte. Here is a link to just a few of the pictures. http://joandelatte.photosite.com/AlexandAiden/
The pictures below are from a CD she gave me from which to order the pictures. These are not on the website above. Since I could not copy and paste from this CD, I simply took a picture from the one on the computer screen. Sorry the quality is not great.

Sorry so long. . .
Sorry it has been so long since we last posted. We have lots of picture from the past 2 or so weeks, so we put them in a slide show again.
Everyone has been doing wonderful. The twins had their 6 month check-up. Alex is between the 25th and 50th percentile in weight and height, and Aiden is right about the 50th percentile. They are doing fine with developement according to their "adjusted age." Both boys are definately wanting to sit up more. They have been enjoying the jumpers they received for Christmas. We have also pulled down Wesley's walker and received one to borrow from Aunt Brenda. Speaking to other parents of twins, many twins actually skip some "milestones" such as rolling over often and go strait to sitting up or so.
We are still doing breathing treatments at least 3 times a day with each baby. Alex has started back with bad conjestion, so we are trying to increase treatments on both -- it may help Aiden not get as bad as Alex is right now. It is no wonder that they are starting with the conjection again with the weather changing so much and so many sick. I know scientifically weather changing does not mean that the child is more likely to get sick, but it does seem that way.
Wesley is doing wonderful. He is learning his letters and is doing pretty well writing his name. He has enjoyed the past few days of warmer and dryer weather so he can play outside. He also loves that his brothers can really play with him now. He might get tired of that after they can start chasing him:)
