The twins turned 7 months old this week. By this time they
should be able to . . .
- keep head steady with body (both)
- say vowel-consonant sounds (both)
will probably be able to . . .
- bear some weight on legs (both)
- sit without support (Alex better than Aiden, but we are getting there)
may be able to . . .
- stand holding on to something (neither)
- feed self a cracker (neither, but they love when Wesley feeds them)
- object if you take a toy away (Aiden more than Alex -- Alex just laughs because he thinks you are playing a game)
- work to get a toy out of reach (both -- especially the bunnies from the Easter pictures last night)
- pass a cube from one hand to another ( both)
- look for a dropped raisen (sometimes)
- rake a raisen (neither)
- turn in direction of a voice (both)
- babble -- gagaga, bababa (neither)
So, they are definately doing a great job of playing catch up these past couple of months.
They are both on antbiotics right now for sinus infections. We cannot seem to get this chest conjestion stuff over with. The moment it seems to get better, it comes back. That is when it looks like other infections start. Hopefully the warmer weather will help them to stay a little healthier. Their doctor did say that they have seen a lot of this this year, so not to worry.
