Mardi Gras!!

We kept Mardi Gras very quiet this year. We chose not to go to any parades even though the weather was wonderful. Wes is still a little under the weather. Whenever he gets just a little overheated he catches coughing fits. It really just was not worth the possibility of him getting sicker again.


Instead, we spent days outside getting some good fresh air. For Mardi Gras we went to Mom's all day with Nanna and crew and NoNo. Kirby, Shannon, and the baby were also there.


Watching the parades on TV just wasn't the same, but we had a lot of fun anyway.
Alex needed to rest his head on my lap for a minute after running circles around the yard. His head looks SO much better now!!! It is blue and slightly swollen, but no longer looks like a bouncy ball is stuck under his skin (that is about the only way I have been able to describe how large this thing was).
